Delete your CounterHype account

You can request deletion of your CounterHype account and cloud data. Take an export first if you want a copy of your logs.
1. Before deleting
- Export your data in the app if you want a copy. Look for Profile, Account & Cloud, or Sync Center export options.
- Cancel any active subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play account used for purchase.
- Uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel your subscription or delete cloud account data.
2. How to request deletion
Email support@counterhype.com from the email address linked to your CounterHype account with the subject line "Delete my CounterHype account".
Include the email address used for sign-in and, if available, any account identifier shown in the app. We may ask you to verify that you control the account before deletion.
3. What deletion covers
Account deletion is intended to remove or de-identify cloud account data connected to your CounterHype account, including profile data, cloud backups, workout logs, food logs, progress data, subscription-linking records, and supportable account identifiers where deletion is technically and legally possible.
4. What may remain
- Local data may remain on your device until you uninstall the app, clear app data, or reset the app.
- App-store purchase records are controlled by Apple or Google and may remain in your store account.
- Some records may be retained where needed for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, or dispute reasons.
- Aggregated or de-identified analytics that no longer identify you may remain.
5. Timing
We aim to process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period, subject to identity checks, technical limits, legal requirements, and backup systems.
