CounterHype may process training, body, nutrition, progress and optional connected-health information to provide the features you choose.

Types of health-related data

This can include onboarding answers, age, height, weight, goals, activity level, equipment, protected areas, food and hydration logs, workout history, recovery check-ins, strength benchmarks, measurements, body-fat estimates, progress photos and reminder preferences.

Health Connect

With permission, CounterHype can read supported categories such as steps, workouts, weight, body fat, lean mass, sleep, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, activity calories, distance and floors. Availability depends on your device and connected sources, and not every imported metric affects a recommendation.

How it is used

Health-related data can be used to build previews and training blocks, calculate planning targets, populate progress views, provide Adaptive Coach Reviews, synchronize data you choose to back up, and support account troubleshooting.

AI-assisted nutrition

Nutrition-label images, meal photos and meal descriptions are processed only when you request those tools. The result is an editable estimate and should be reviewed before saving.

What we do not do

We do not sell user health data. CounterHype does not make medical diagnoses or treatment decisions and should not be used for urgent or clinical care.

Storage and sharing

Core app data is local first. Signed-in Pro features may store cloud snapshots, photos and synchronization records with service providers needed to operate the feature. Health Connect access remains subject to the permissions you grant in Android.

Your controls

You can manage Health Connect permissions in Android, export or import supported account data, delete records inside the app, or request correction or account deletion through support where available and legally required.
